Planning Out for a Long-Term Assignment
- Start early, so you don't feel crammed in the end to get it all done.
- Work on it for a little bit of time over a long period of time, instead of working on it for a long time in a short period of time.
- Plan out times to work on it and take time out of your day set specifically for working on your project.
Procrastination Strategies
- Tell your parents about it, because they won't forget and they will always remind you about it hourly.
- Make notes all around your house saying "DO YOUR PROJECT" or something like that, because it will make you feel bad until you actually do your project.
- Get your parents to yell at you if you aren't working on your project. If you're on the computer you can have them change the internet password until you've shown them that you have worked on your project.
- Work on your project with a friend, that way you have someone to talk to about it and can help you if you need it.
- Set notifications on your phone. Whenever I have something important to do at a certain time, I always set an alarm on my phone so I will remember it, because I forget things easily.
Project
I didn't start reading my book until a week before the book was supposed to be done, and it was extremely hard for me to finish the book. I needed to give myself more time next time definitely, because I ended up doing this entire Weebly in almost two days. I will definitely be smarter next time I have a project and make wiser decisions.
